Frequently asked questions

From what room size does a home gym make sense?

As little as 10 m² is enough for meaningful training. What matters: ceiling height (min. 2.2 m for most lifts), flooring, and what you want to train — we'll tell you honestly if your space works.

Can my floor handle the weight?

Concrete floors are usually fine. Wooden joist floors need a closer look — load capacity, weight distribution, possibly an extra floor build-up. We sort that out in the first call.

Is this also possible in a rental apartment — what about the neighbours?

Yes, in many cases. We plan with soundproofing, floor load, and reversible solutions in mind — so you don't lose anything when you move out, and your neighbours stay relaxed. The right flooring (fall protection mats, rubber floor) makes the biggest difference for noise. For tricky setups we'll show you additional decoupling options.

What does a home gym cost if you want to train seriously?

You can start from around CHF 1'200 with a core setup. From there, the range is wide — up to five figures for full setups. The good news: you don't need to buy everything at once. We plan modular, so your setup grows with you — rack first, plates next, additional stations when they make sense.

What does the consultation cost?

Consultation is completely free until the build quote.

Who delivers and sets up my gym?

Usually we deliver and install everything on site — you start training, we handle the rest. Prefer to handle it yourself? Pickup and self-assembly is also an option. Just let us know in our call which way works for you.

How do I actually go about planning?

As soon as you've sent the form, we'll email you our home gym planning guide — with equipment recommendations, room checks, and setup examples. That gives you a solid foundation. In the first call afterwards, we go into your specific space, budget, and training goals.
