But these are exactly the areas that limit you on deadlifts, snatches and cleans. The GHD trains this entire muscle chain dynamically and under load. GHD Sit-Ups, Hip Extensions, Back Extensions, Glute Ham Raises – the machine covers everything that challenges your posterior chain.

Built robust, placed flexibly

At 161 cm length and 136 cm height, the GHD offers enough space even for tall athletes. The 71 cm width and 47 kg weight ensure stable footing – even during explosive movements. If you want serious posterior chain training – that noticeably improves your performance on compound lifts – the GHD is the right machine. Bodyweight exercises are a good start, but for maximum strengthening you need heavier artillery. A hyperextension bench mainly targets the back extensors – the GHD trains the complete chain.
