Rubber floor 25 mm - The inexpensive and durable underground protection
If you think that the muscles in CrossFit and strength training are put under greater stress than anything else, you do the calculation without the floor. Grinding gym sledges, dropping barbells, slam balls crashing to the ground or dumbbells falling out of pumped-out hands are just some of the stresses the flooring in the box has to deal with. A resilient rubber floor provides a remedy - and at an affordable price.
Two-layer structure saves weight and money
The plain black rubber floor is not only an ideal floor covering for gyms, CrossFit boxes and homegyms for aesthetic reasons. Above all, the shock absorbing properties of the rubber compound specially designed for this purpose stand out.
Compared to our 15 mm thick sports rubber floor, the rubber mixture is even harder. In addition, the floor shines through the two-layer structure of the 1 m x 1 m measuring modules.
While a coarse-grained rubber mixture on the underside ensures maximum traction on the surface, the fine-grained rubber layer on the surface guarantees optimal damping and anti-slip properties. This saves weight and production costs compared to homogeneous rubber floors.
Optimal protection for sensitive surfaces
With a material thickness of 25 mm, the rubber floor is significantly thicker than comparable floors. This gives it outstanding properties in terms of vibration and sound absorption. In addition, there is a clear impact sound insulation. This makes training in the gym more comfortable and easier on the joints for all athletes.
The basis for the rubber floor is recycled styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), so that our floors make their contribution to the sustainable design of the gym. Furthermore, rubber floors made of SBR rubber are characterized by their enormous impact and pressure resistance as well as their high permanent elasticity. Even sensitive surfaces can be protected from the pressure of heavy machines and falling dumbbells.
Easy to lay, easy to maintain
The high dead weight of 20 kilograms per module ensures an optimal hold on the floor and prevents the flush-mounted panels from slipping. Ideally, you lay the modules of our 25 mm rubber floor overlapping so that there are no continuous joints. This means that the modules cannot move even under heavy loads due to a heavily loaded gym sled.
The glue on the floor guarantees even more hold - but it is not absolutely necessary. Cleaning is also extremely easy thanks to the robust SBR rubber, which is resistant to soaps, lyes, water and cleaning agents. -
