Our hex dumbbells feature a solid cast iron core with a virgin rubber coating – high-quality new rubber that doesn't grease, doesn't stink, and won't leave marks on your floor. The chrome-plated steel handle is fully knurled for a secure grip, even with sweaty hands. Another plus: the hex shape allows clean stacking if you don't have a rack yet. What is virgin rubber?
New rubber, not recycled material. The advantage: barely any smell, no greasing, and it won't stain your floor.
Can I drop these dumbbells?
Yes. The rubber coating protects both the dumbbell and your floor.
What weight to start with?
That depends on your level and the exercises you do. For dynamic movements like snatches, many start at 10–15 kg, for isolation exercises like curls often less. Best to test a few different weights.
Do I need a dumbbell rack?
Not necessarily – the hex shape allows clean stacking on the floor. Once you have about 5 pairs or more, a rack is recommended for organisation and quick access.
How should I store them?
On a rack or stacked on the floor. The hex shape makes both possible.
