Frequently Asked Questions About Hyrox Simulation
What is a Hyrox simulation?
A Hyrox simulation is a training race in the official Hyrox format (8 × 1 km running + 8 stations) held under competition conditions at a gym or external venue. Times are tracked via gym timer — it's not an officially scored competition. HYROX Training Clubs use simulations to prepare their members for official races.
Which Hyrox stations can I rent or buy?
All stations of a Hyrox simulation: SkiErg, RowErg, turf with sleds and weight plates (for Sled Push and Pull), kettlebells for the Farmers Carry, sandbags for the lunges, and Wall Balls with target. All weights in the official Hyrox categories for men and women.
How does renting from cross equip work?
You send us an enquiry with date, number of participants and venue. We create an individual offer, deliver the equipment on time for the event and collect everything afterwards. Simple.
Do you deliver across all of Switzerland?
Yes, we deliver throughout Switzerland. Delivery costs depend on location and scope and are transparently shown in the offer.
How many participants can a simulation have?
That depends on the available equipment and space. For individual start simulations, one station set is enough. For mass simulations with parallel lanes, we deliver multiple sets — get in touch and we'll configure the right package.
Can I buy the equipment instead of renting?
Yes. Individual stations or the complete package — depending on what you want to bring permanently into your gym. Tell us your concept, we'll recommend the right setup.
Is cross equip an official Hyrox partner?
No. cross equip is an independent manufacturer, retailer and rental provider of training equipment.
