The Concept2 SkiErg is a ski ergometer that recreates the cross-country skiing motion – both poles together (double pole) or alternating (diagonal stride). What sounds like a niche piece is one of the most effective upper-body cardio tools out there: every pull works lats, triceps, abs and core, plus glutes and legs when you drive properly. That's exactly why SkiErgs sit in CrossFit Boxes, HYROX gyms, rehab clinics and athletic training centers. The air resistance reacts to you – the harder you pull, the more you get back. No button press, no levels, just pull and follow through.

The SkiErg runs on the same mechanics as the Concept2 RowErg: high-strength cables, flywheel resistance, simple construction, spare parts available for decades. The PM5 monitor delivers watts, distance, split times and calories live, syncing via Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ with ErgData, Zwift and all other Concept2-compatible apps. Watt values are globally standardized – your 200 W in Pfäffikon are the same 200 W in Boston. The FloorStand is included, no wall to drill into. Set it up, plug it in, go. The FloorStand version measures 59.6 × 127 × 215.9 cm and stands stable without mounting. Power supply: 2× D batteries for the display, with the flywheel recharging during training – batteries last for years.

The SkiErg is one of the most underrated cardio machines out there. If you train HYROX, you know it – 1000 meters in competition, and they hurt. But for normal athletic training too: nothing hits upper body, core and conditioning in one movement quite as directly. We've got the SkiErg right next to the RowErg in our Box – same PM5, same comparability. The FloorStand variant is more practical than you'd think – you just place it, no wall needed, and when the Box gets rearranged you simply push it over.
