A track costs twice over: the purchase, and the floor that carries nothing else from then on. The question is whether what you can newly offer brings back both. Your numbers, not ours — we don’t do the sums for you.

What the track costs

The purchase spread over the years, plus the rent on the floor it takes up.

Track area m² Carried over from the configurator if you came from there. Purchase CHF Indicative price of the track. Delivery and laying are not in here yet. Service life years We calculate with 3 to 5 years under heavy use. In practice the tracks last longer. Rent per m² and year CHF Your rent per square metre. It belongs here because the floor used to carry something else.

What it brings in

Only what would not work without the track — the rest ran before, too.

Booked hours per week h Hours in which people actually train on the track. Revenue per booked hour CHF Class fee, share of a membership, personal training — what that one hour brings in.

Cost per year — Purchase divided by the years, plus area times rent.

Cost per booked hour — Cost per year, spread over the hours booked.

Coverage — Revenue divided by the cost of that hour. From 1× the surface carries itself.

Two items are deliberately missing

Delivery depends on the postcode and only appears in the quote. Installation you do yourself — half a day with two people, and only you know what that is worth.
