Wooden rings with competition straps - indestructible and flexible
No matter how dusty and antiquated - wooden rings are more popular as training equipment than ever. And there are several good reasons for this: After all, functional training on the unstable rings strains the body right down to the last fiber, making it a versatile and effective training device. Of course, rings and straps have to endure a lot. This is not a problem for our wooden rings with double-stitched straps.
Flexible, hard-wearing, ergonomic
Compared to our other training rings, the wooden rings with competition straps have some special features. In addition to the particularly hard-wearing straps and the resistant seams, this applies above all to the ring diameter. At 29 mm, this is somewhat smaller, so that the rings can be gripped safely even with smaller hands.
At the same time, the straps are equipped with practical carabiners. In combination with the fixed lengths of the straps, these allow you to set the preferred length in no time at all. Our wooden rings with competition straps are each available in a short (275 cm or 6 feet) and a long variant (185 cm or 6 feet).

Training with wooden rings has several advantages
The functional training on the wooden rings is characterized by a high degree of freedom of movement and instability. This not only trains the optimal interaction between the individual muscles of the muscle chains involved in an exercise, but also activates small auxiliary muscles, which are neglected in many classic forms of training.
This makes wooden rings an ideal opportunity to use bodyweight exercises to create intense growth stimuli for building muscle mass, strength and endurance. Starting with pull-ups, ring push-up and ring dips to hanging leg raises and the supreme discipline, the Iron Cross, there are a number of training options available.
Tip:
In order to be able to train optimally, the distance between the two anchor points should be between 50 and 60 cm. The optimal distance between the lower edge of the ring and the floor or the upper edge of the ring and the ceiling depends on which exercises are to be carried out.
There is a minimum of 90 cm between the bottom edge of the ring and the floor for sensible training. When mounting on the ceiling or on a rig, the distance between the head and the ceiling in the support position should still be at least 20-30 cm. -
