Wooden rings - high quality wooden gymnastic rings
Previously only found in gymnasts, high-quality wooden rings in the gym no longer remind of bearded gymnastics father Jahn. Thanks to their versatility for the training of strength, strength endurance, body control and trunk stability, the good old wooden rings are also making a comeback in modern CrossFit boxes. But the Gym Rings also cut a good figure in some homegym.
cross equip gym rings - advantages of the unique training equipment
Our high-quality gym rings made of solid wood offer everything you need to get started with this special form of training. While the 600 cm long and numbered straps provide optimal setting options, a handle diameter of 32 mm guarantees the best possible grip at all times.
And training with the Gym Rings is worthwhile because the rings activate numerous auxiliary muscles due to the high degree of freedom of movement and the additional instability during training. In addition, the ring workout is particularly gentle on the joints, trains inter- and intramuscular coordination, promotes functional strength development and, last but not least, sets intensive growth stimuli.
Tip: You can also get the right magnesium blocks in our shop.
Correct fastening of the wooden rings in the box and home gym
If you want to install gym rings in the box or at home, you should think about the use in advance. Correct assembly depends on this. The standard recommendation for the greatest possible freedom of movement in the box provides for a distance of 300 cm between the anchor point on the ceiling and the lower edge of the ring.
At the same time, the distance from the lower edge of the ring to the floor should be a good 280 cm. This enables even tree-length athletes to perform dynamic swing exercises. The ideal distance between the anchor points is 50-60 cm. This also applies to use in the home gym.
Since very few have a six meter high ceiling at home, the range of functions of the rings is somewhat limited. However, if you guarantee a distance of at least 90 cm between the top of the ring and the ceiling, you can still perform numerous exercises such as muscle-ups, iron crosses and ring dips. -
