  • Eco wooden rings - our affordable introduction to functional training

Those who still know the wooden rings from the gymnastics lessons of their school days will not necessarily have good memories of them. But we can assure you one thing: that is only because you did not get to know the full potential of the all-rounder at the time. For good reason, wooden rings are now an integral part of any CrossFit box.

And they can also be found in more and more home gyms and even during outdoor training. Our Eco wooden rings are the cost-effective entry into the world of functional training and are part of the indispensable standard equipment for every box.

Eco wooden rings - the alternative for bargain hunters

In terms of quality, the cross equip eco wooden rings are in no way inferior to our standard wooden rings. The only central difference: In contrast to our standard rings, the straps do not have a length marking. In addition to the low price, the Eco wooden rings are characterized by a handle diameter of 31 mm, which ensures optimal grip at all times.

In addition, the adjustable straps can be adjusted to a maximum length of 225 cm, which opens up numerous possibilities for attachment to racks, rigs, ceiling anchors or thick branches during outdoor training. Thanks to the existing carabiner, the preferred length can be locked quickly and easily at any time.

Training with wooden rings - the best exercises

The cross equip eco wooden rings are a compact gym to take away, which is characterized by an almost endless range of exercises. No matter whether arms, back, chest or stomach. Thanks to different fastening options and possible uses, almost every muscle in the body can be trained with the wooden rings. Here are our top 10 exercises on the wooden rings.

    • dips
    • muscle ups
    • ring Rows
    • pull-ups
    • hanging knee raises
    • hanging leg raises
    • ring butterfly
    • iron Cross
    • ring push ups
    • l-sit

    Tip for correct attachment

Regardless of the mounting location, the distance between the two anchor points should be 50-60 centimeters. For practical use, the distance between the lower edge of the ring and the floor should be at least 90 cm.

If exercises such as the Iron Cross are envisaged, care must also be taken to ensure that there is sufficient ceiling height. For safety reasons, the basic rule here is that, based on the height of a 2 meter tall athlete in the support, there should still be at least 20-30 cm of air to the ceiling.
