Your rig is up, the pull-up bar is taken
Rings in the WOD, and the only free hanging point is the pull-up bar – which somebody else needs right now. That is exactly where the Ring Hanger comes in: it turns a free spot on your rig's crossbeam into a hanging point for rings, without you having to clear a pull-up station for it. Your floor space stays as it is, the rig stays as it is – all that gets added is a bracket.
So there is no misunderstanding, because the name does not give it away: you are buying the mount, not the rings. What arrives is a piece of black-coated steel – two parallel cheeks that grip the rig beam from both sides, held by one bolt running through both cheeks. At the bottom, between the cheeks, sits a round bar. You thread the strap of your rings over that bar, exactly as the mounting photo shows. Rings and straps you pick and order yourself – that is on purpose, because anyone who already owns rings does not need them twice.
Does the Ring Hanger suit your setup?
The bracket is made for our own rigs and sits on the A-Line as well as on the Swiss Line. On rigs from other manufacturers it does not fit reliably, because beam profiles and hole patterns are not the same – if in doubt, ask first rather than find out the hard way. And if the rings are not meant for the rig at all but for the ceiling, you need a different part: the Swiss Line Ring Hanger.
On the sales unit, because it likes to slip past people in the basket: a pair of rings hangs from two points. If you want both rings on the Ring Hanger, you put two pieces in the basket.
What has to be right on the rig before the rings go on
This is not small print, this is the part that decides between a good day and a bad one. Your rig has to be anchored to the floor – rings get swung on, and the pull does not only go downwards. Without anchoring, the Ring Hanger has no business on your rig. Second: you need at least 3 metres between two ring stations. That sounds like a lot, right up until the first person pulls into their muscle-up and the second is hanging in the transition next to them. And third, you clear up beforehand: J-cups off, everything out of the swing area – off the rig itself and off the floor around it.

Both clamp to the same rigs with a single bolt. The one documented difference is the hanging point: a round bar to thread through here, an eyelet to clip into on the Gym Ring Fixed. Which of the two works better in training we are not going to claim – take the one that suits your strap. Unsure? Write us before you order.

Customer reviews
The most common call about this part goes like this: the parcel is here, but where are the rings? So I would rather say it once too clearly – this is the mount, the rings you pick yourself. In our box they have been hanging off the crossbeam for years, the strap simply threaded over the round bar. Have a quick look at how your straps are built beforehand, then there are no surprises during assembly. And if you are planning two ring stations next to each other, take the three metres seriously – they sound like a lot until two people pull through at the same time.
