No rig in the room? Then the ceiling it is
You want to work on rings, but there is no rig at your place – and there is not going to be one. Then the ceiling is the obvious spot, and that is exactly what the Swiss Line Ring Hanger is built for. One continuous bar, a flat tab with a drill hole at each end. That is all it takes.
The point is in the shape: the tabs sit flat against the ceiling, the bar itself sits a little below it. So your straps run all the way around it – and slide sideways between the two end tabs. You set the ring spacing yourself, and you can change it later whenever you like. No second drill hole, no tools, just slide it.
It does not have to be rings, either. A climbing rope hangs from it just as well.
Why there are no screws in the box
That is the question that comes up most often before buying – so here it is straight away: fixing hardware is not included. That is not an oversight, it is deliberate. Concrete, timber joists and steel beams each call for a different fixing. A standard set thrown in the box would simply be the wrong thing for most ceilings – and the anchoring is exactly where you should not be guessing.
So: look at what is built above you and get the anchors that suit that structure. More than your body weight acts on rings – swinging adds peak loads on top. If you are not sure what is in your ceiling, ask someone who knows the structure. It is a short check, and after that you have peace of mind.
Where the bar goes on the ceiling
As a reference point for lining it up: gymnastic rings usually hang 50 to 60 cm apart. Measure the spacing you run on your own rings and use that to work out where the bar goes on the ceiling. You do not have to hit it exactly when you drill – the fine-tuning happens on the bar anyway.
The mount is manufactured in Switzerland – hence the Swiss Made on the product images. That refers to where it comes from, no more and no less.

If you have no rig, the Swiss Line Ring Hanger is your part: one bar on the ceiling, two screws, ring spacing freely chosen. If a rig is already standing at your place, you do not need it – then you hang the rings on the crossbeam with the Ring Hanger. Two different parts for two different situations, not two quality levels.

Customer reviews
In our box the rings hang on the rig – but anyone training at home usually has no rig and does not want one either. Then it goes on the ceiling, and there is one thing I value about this part above all: you are not committing to a spacing when you drill. Rings narrower or wider? Ten seconds, slid across, carry on. What you really should sort out beforehand is your ceiling. We deliberately include no screws – what holds in concrete is the wrong thing in a timber joist. Better to ask once what is built up there than to drill twice.
