Description

For real progress in your training

Anyone who wants to up their training weight realistically knows: 10 kg jumps rarely work cleanly. With partial plates you add weight in 2.5 or 5 kg steps – that's the difference between progress with good technique and stagnation or injury. The small plates are ideal for squats, bench press, rows or military press. They're also perfect for intensity techniques like drop sets or pyramid training, because you can strip weight off fast without long breaks.

Solid-rubber build for daily use

The partial plates are made from hard-wearing solid rubber with a stabilising metal ring. That means no annoying clatter during training and a long service life. The 50 mm standard bore fits all Olympic barbells – whether in the home gym or the box. Whether you're just starting out or adding to your setup: partial plates simply belong in the kit if you train seriously.

If you want a quiet session and want to look after your bar, the solid-rubber partial plates are the better choice. Metal plates work too, but they're louder and less pleasant to handle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need partial plates?
Because realistic increases are the key to consistent progress. With 1.25 kg or 2.5 kg plates you can add weight per side in small steps – that's 2.5 kg or 5 kg per bar. This keeps your technique clean and helps you avoid plateaus.
Do the plates fit my barbell?
Yes, if you have an Olympic barbell with a 50 mm sleeve. That's the standard in CrossFit, Olympic lifting and powerlifting.
Do the plates clatter?
No. The solid-rubber material dampens noise – even with several plates on the bar. Far more pleasant than metal plates.
Do you sell the plates individually or as a pair?
Individually. For a pair, order 2 pieces.
Are the plates only for advanced lifters?
Not at all. Beginners in particular benefit from small increases, because it lets them keep their technique clean while getting stronger.
Which weights should I get?
Ideally both. With 2x 1.25 kg and 2x 2.5 kg you get maximum flexibility for increases of 2.5 kg, 5 kg or 7.5 kg per bar.
