    The SZ Curl Bar is an integral part of the fitness area. The curved version of the classic barbell is part of the standard equipment both in professional gyms and CrossFit boxes and in the fitness room at home. Whether for bicep training, the neck or the legs, the SZ Curl Bar is a real all-rounder that should not be missing in any fitness arsenal.

    The curved shape immediately catches the eye when you look at the SZ Curl Bar. The pronounced SZ shape of the bar with a handle diameter of 28 mm follows anatomical aspects and is optimally coordinated with ergonomic training.

    The bend has an ideal angle to ensure a natural position for the wrists during the workout at all times. Since the wrists are not forced into an unnatural forced posture, the risk of tendonitis and painful irritation of the forearms is reduced.

    But that's not all, because the natural positioning of the wrists and the optimal interaction of the muscles involved means that more weight can be moved with the SZ barbell.

     

    Our SZ barbell - more compact and lighter

    In comparison to the barbell, the SZ Curl Bar is significantly shorter. Nevertheless, there is enough space on the two 19 cm long receiving surfaces for almost all exercises. Thanks to the mounting diameter of 50 mm, the barbell is compatible with all of our weight plates with standard Olympic holes. Nothing stands in the way of intensive training at the limit.

    At the same time, the SZ barbell bar only weighs 10 kg, which makes it 10 kg lighter than a standard barbell. This is an advantage especially for exercises for the arms, since the dumbbell can also be loaded with low weight. This also makes it an ideal training device to consolidate the technique for some complex basic exercises. For squats, for example, the SZ Curl Bar is an ideal intermediate step between the broomstick and the heavily loaded barbell.

    Even if the barbell bar bears the name Curl Bar, it is not only suitable for a wide variety of bicep curl variants in a narrow and wide grip. Nevertheless, the SZ Curl Bar offers probably the most intensive type of bicep training.

    The barbell is also predestined for triceps exercises such as skull crusher and French presses while standing and sitting due to its characteristic bend. There are also exercises such as a tight bench press and upright rowing to the chin. Our SZ Curl Bar can even be used as an ergonomic additional weight for good mornings.
