Why don't these plates smell?
Because they're made from 100% Virgin Rubber – natural, non-recycled rubber. The typical harsh odor comes from chemical compounds in recycled rubber. With Virgin Rubber, that's eliminated.
What does IWF color coding mean?
The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) has defined colors for each weight class in competition: White (5 kg), Green (10 kg), Yellow (15 kg), Blue (20 kg), Red (25 kg). This lets you instantly identify the weight you're holding – practical for quick changes between sets.
Will these plates fit my barbell?
Yes, if you have an Olympic barbell with a 50 mm sleeve. That's the standard for all barbells used in CrossFit, Olympic Lifting, and Powerlifting.
Are these plates suitable for drops?
Absolutely. That's what Bumper Plates are made for. The Virgin Rubber material is robust and built for daily use with drops.
What's the difference from the first version?
The second version features molded lettering instead of printed. Not only does it look better, but it also lasts longer since nothing can peel off.
What's the weight tolerance?
Maximum 1% deviation. For a 20 kg plate, that means a maximum difference of 200 g – a very precise value suitable for training and competition prep.
