Great and compact product with good workmanship

Adjustable competition kettlebells are a great concept for home use, addressing several of the problems associated with traditional kettlebells—space requirements, weight fluctuations, and, depending on the model, size differences. I owned one weighing 40 kg almost exactly ten years ago (sadly, practically impossible to find these days), which is reflected in the comparison. These ones are generally better made, but they do have a few shortcomings. For example, one of them has a fairly pronounced casting defect on the edge, which was hastily filled with foam, and the paint is chipping off the edges just from opening and closing it. I've gotten used to having to sweep the floor after every use. One star deducted for that.
The weight of the empty kettlebells is slightly higher than the recommended weight, which also carries over to the individual weight levels. I don't think it's a big deal, but I think it's worth mentioning. Adjusting the weight takes about two minutes per kettlebell, so that's something else to keep in mind. It would have been perfect if the manufacturer had included two 1 kg plates instead of the bottom 2 kg plate; that would make it easier to reach some intermediate weights.
