Description

Power rack with integrated plate storage – no searching, no carrying

The CPR-200 is the power rack (often also called squat rack) for everyone who wants plates directly at the rack instead of fetching them from across the room. Eight plateholders – in industry jargon Weight Horns – are fixed in the frame, four per side. You pull the plate, load the bar, done. For CrossFit Boxes with dense class flow, for personal trainers switching between client stations, and for home gyms where plate storage would otherwise need a separate spot, that makes the difference. You save time per set, you save floor space, and the plates sit sorted where you need them. Squats, bench press, rack deadlifts, rack pulls – all in, all directly loaded.

A-Line build quality: 244 kg net weight and full expandability

The CPR-200 is part of our proven A-Line series and at 244 kg net weight the heaviest variant in the CPR family. 3 mm steel, 75 × 75 mm square profile – the rack stands stable without floor anchoring, even under heavy squats and on re-rack with weight. The laser-engraved height markers help you set safety straps and J-hooks precisely level. Like all our racks, the CPR-200 benefits from the A-Line system: dip arms, safety arms, pull-up bars, curved pull-up bars, multi-grip bars, landmine attachments, storage extensions – all fit directly, all retrofit-ready. Start with the rack including plateholders today; in two years you have a complete training station.

If plate storage at the rack matters – because you run a Box, switch fast between clients in the studio, or don't want a separate storage rack in your home gym – the CPR-200 is the direct choice. The CPR-150 is the standard variant without plateholders, the CPR-100 is the compact solution for tight rooms. All three are A-Line – extensions fit at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do the integrated plateholders bring me?
Time and order. Instead of fetching plates from a separate storage, you hang them directly on the rack. In dense workouts (Box class, EMOM, fast client changes in the studio), the difference is immediate. Plus: you save floor space because the separate storage rack disappears.
How many plates fit on the plateholders?
Eight plateholders (Weight Horns), 50 mm diameter. Depending on plate thickness, that's typically 4–6 bumper plates per post (sorted), or more with thinner competition plates. Total: 250+ kg organized directly at the rack.
Will my plates fit the plateholders?
Yes, if they're 50 mm Olympic standard. That's the standard for all common bumper plates, competition plates and Olympic cast iron. Home plates with 30 mm bore don't fit.
What's the difference to the CPR-150?
Mainly the plateholders and the depth. The CPR-200 has eight plateholders (Weight Horns) fixed in the frame and 189 cm depth. The CPR-150 is 121 cm deep without plateholders – plate storage has to come separately or as a retrofit. Height (220 cm) and width (121 cm) are identical.
Do I need to anchor the rack to the floor?
Not required. With 244 kg net weight plus typically 150+ kg of plates on the plateholders, the CPR-200 stands absolutely stable. For maximum safety on very heavy lifts or multi-athlete use, we recommend optional anchoring – but for standard use the net weight is enough.
How much space do I need for the rack?
Footprint 121 × 189 cm. Plus space for you, the barbell on both sides and the plates on the side-mounted plateholders. Sensible minimum room: about 250 × 230 cm free training area at 220 cm ceiling height.
Can I expand the rack later?
Yes. The CPR-200 is A-Line. All A-Line attachments fit: dip arms, safety arms, pull-up bars, curved pull-up bars, multi-grip bars, landmine, wallball targets, storage upright extensions. Step-by-step upgrades without buying a new rack.
Is the CPR-200 a power rack or a squat rack?
Technically a full power rack with 4 posts and safety straps. In common usage "squat rack" is often used as a catch-all for exactly this build. If you're looking for a power rack with plate storage, you're in the right place. Pull-up bars are available as A-Line attachments in several variants.

Customer reviews

The CPR-200 is my pick for Boxes and ambitious home gyms that don't want to keep walking to the plate rack. Eight plateholders fixed on the rack – that saves you many steps per workout and keeps the training room tidy. In our Box, the CPR-200 runs every day with multiple athletes in parallel. The 244 kg net weight isn't marketing – you feel it from the first heavy set: the rack doesn't move.
