Description

Ankle strap for kickbacks, abduction and leg raises

The Feet Strap turns your cable machine into a station for hips and legs. Wrap the ankle strap around your ankle, hook it on, and the cable keeps tension on you through the whole movement. Typical uses are cable kickbacks, hip abduction and adduction, forward or side leg raises and standing leg curls. You set the load on the cable machine, whether it runs on a weight stack or plates – nothing to strap on or swap.

Mesh outside, pull tab to cinch it tight

The padded ankle cuff is mesh on the outer side and fastens with hook-and-loop. Two D-rings sit on the textile webbing: the larger one, made of metal, takes the carabiner; through the smaller one you thread the long tab, pull it tight and press it down. It comes as a pair, so one cuff per leg. Both cuffs are black and carry our logo.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are ankle cuffs?
Ankle cuffs – or ankle straps – are padded cuffs that go around your ankle. You hook them onto the cable machine and train legs and hips against the pull of the cable. You'll also see them called ankle attachments or cable foot straps.
Do I need a carabiner?
Yes, you need a carabiner to clip in – many cable machines already have one at the end of the cable. More carabiners are in our cable accessories, such as the Universal Carabiner Black.
Why two cuffs if I only train one leg?
Strap on both and leave them on for the whole session. After a set, move the carabiner to the other leg – that saves you undoing and redoing the fastening between sides.
How do I fasten the ankle strap on the cable machine?
Wrap the cuff around your ankle, thread the long tab through the small D-ring, pull it snug and press it onto the fastener. Then hook in the large D-ring.
What pulley height works best?
For kickbacks, abduction, adduction and standing leg curls, set the pulley all the way to the bottom. Hold on to the frame with one hand to keep your upper body steady.
Can I wear the Feet Strap on my wrist?
It's designed for the ankle. For the wrist we have the Wrist Strap with its double D-ring, made for raising your arms against the cable.

Customer reviews

A cable machine can do a lot more than pulldowns and rows. Ankle straps on, pulley down – and you're training hips and legs on the same station. Two cuffs and a carabiner, that's all it takes.
