Practice Handstand Walks Where the Floor Isn't Flat
A handstand walk on level ground is one thing. The moment it goes up or down it is another – your center of gravity shifts with every step, and suddenly you notice how much control you are still missing. That is exactly what the Handstand Ramp is built for: a sloped ramp and a staircase with 4 steps that you combine freely. Up the stairs and down the ramp, or the other way round. Set up, that gives you a lane of 330 cm length, 90 cm width and 40 cm height at its highest point.
The 90 cm width is easy to underestimate. It means you do not have to aim with your hands and can concentrate on the movement instead. The incline is around 10 degrees – flat enough to get up under control, steep enough that you feel the difference in your shoulders immediately. To be honest about it: the ramp is nothing for the start – it comes in once your handstand walk on the floor already works.
Competition-Proven – and Delivered in Two Boxes
The ramp was in use at the Swiss Throwdown in the "Elite Edition" – athletes in the handstand going over it, under competition conditions. What holds up there holds up in daily box use. It is covered throughout in black vinyl, non-slip – chalk and sweat simply wipe off.
It is delivered in two boxes of 110 × 90 × 40 cm each. The ramp section measures around 220 cm and folds in the middle, folded it is about 110 cm. The stair section is around 110 cm long. Setting up means putting it down, pushing the parts together, go – no tools, no assembly. And because both parts work on their own, you can also build a gymnastics course with them without setting up the full lane.

Handstand Ramp vs. Handstand Push Up Mat
| Criteria | Handstand Ramp | Handstand Push Up Mat |
|---|---|---|
| Training goal | Handstand walk with height changes | Handstand push ups on the spot |
| Movement | Walking across 330 cm of distance | Staying stable in one place |
| Dimensions | 330 × 90 × 40 cm | 100 × 50 × 4 cm |
| Setup | Two parts, freely combinable | One mat, put it down, done |
| Space required | Full lane plus run-out | Fits in any corner |
| Typical use | Box, event, gymnastics course | Box and home gym |
Two goals, no ranking. If you train handstand push ups, take the Handstand Push Up Mat – the ramp gives you nothing there. If you want the handstand walk over steps and slope, there is no way around it. It is a box and event piece, not a standard buy for the home gym.

Customer reviews
At the Swiss Throwdown the ramp was out on the floor in the Elite Edition, and you could see immediately who really controls the handstand walk. On level ground a lot of it looks clean – the moment it goes up and down, the truth shows. That is exactly why we have it in the range. For a box that takes gymnastics seriously, this is a piece that moves athletes forward.
