More versatile than any flat bench
The Hip Thrust Bench – also known as a glute bridge bench – may carry the name, but hip thrusts are just the beginning. In our box and at many of our customers' gyms it has completely replaced the classic flat bench in group classes. Step-ups, elevated push-ups, lunges, dumbbell bench press, rows, box jumps – and every now and then someone hops on to reach the pull-up bar. At 30 cm (small version) and 35 cm (large version), it sits low enough for stable work and high enough for proper hip thrusts. Barbell, dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags or bands – anything goes. It weighs 7 kg and 12.5 kg respectively, while a flat bench weighs two to three times as much.
Built for daily box use, not record attempts
The core is dense foam with a vinyl cover – tough, easy to wipe down and low maintenance. The underside is non-slip, so nothing shifts around. And yes, under very heavy loads the foam can compress slightly. For group training, personal training and WODs that's a non-issue. We're not talking about a competition powerlifting bench here – we're talking about the piece of kit you pull out of storage most often and put away the fastest. That's exactly what it's built for. There are two sizes: 60 cm for smaller athletes or tight spaces, and 90 cm for taller athletes from around 1.80 m. The large one isn't just longer, it's also higher at 35 cm instead of 30 cm – which gives longer legs more room on hip thrusts.

If you want a bench for group classes, personal training and a wide range of exercises, the Hip Thrust Bench is the better pick. It's more versatile, noticeably lighter and far easier to store. For heavy bench press with serious loads you'll still want a solid flat bench. But for everything else? You reach for the Hip Thrust Bench – more often than you'd think.

Customer reviews
The Hip Thrust Bench is one of those products where the name doesn't tell the whole story. In our box we reach for these benches more often than for the flat benches – simply because they're good for so much more. Set it down, train, put it away. In group classes that's worth its weight in gold.
