Description
The ready-made sprint track for two athletes
The Hybrid Racing Competition Turf is a ready-made sprint track in black artificial turf: two 80 cm lanes side by side, 1650 cm long. It's built for heats of two – two athletes start at the same time, push or pull the sled over the same distance and see straight away who's ahead. Start and finish lines are 1250 cm apart. For you as a box owner, that means running heats in training without first marking out a course with tape and a tape measure. And when there's no sled on it, two athletes sprint against each other on the same track.
Fixed layout, ready to use
The layout is set: white edge lines on the outside and a white centre line between the lanes, all 5 cm wide. Before the start and behind the finish there's about 200 cm each – room to line up and to run out. Our logo sits in the middle of the track, lengthwise to the running direction, and the centre line breaks there. Because there's nothing to configure on this track, we keep it in stock and it ships to you as a roll. For sled pushes and sled pulls you fix it to the floor so it doesn't ripple. Is turf right for what you have in mind?
For sled work there is no way around turf — for a lot of other things there is. The turf hub tells you whether the surface pays off for you, and the configurator gives you a guide price for your turf straight away.

Once two athletes start side by side, a sled push runs differently – everyone wants to be first over the line. That's why we wanted a track you put down and start, finish and lanes are already right. No tape, no tape measure, no arguing about where the line was. If you need a different size, you're better off with the made-to-size turf – for everyone else, this is the fastest way to heats in your own box.
