Description

Built specifically for deadlifts

This platform is built primarily around the deadlift – the lift where the most weight comes back down to the floor. You stand on the wooden top plate (1 m × 1 m × 25 mm) in the centre, which gives you solid ground under your feet – no wobble, no flex, no energy loss on the pull. The black rubber platform floors left and right are your drop zones for the plates. Drop the bar after a rep and the material absorbs the impact before it travels into your floor and walls. Cleans, snatches and other Olympic lifts work the same way on the platform – it's designed for drops from shoulder height and above.

Three dampening levels for three setups

We deliver the platform in three thicknesses – Advanced (5 cm), Pro (7.5 cm) and Extreme (10 cm). The difference sits entirely in the lower layer: the thicker the shock-absorb pads and the lower rubber mat, the more energy gets buffered below, instead of travelling up into your floor above. The surrounding steel frame holds the layers together and gives the platform its final stiffness. Self-assembly with M10 bolts, instructions included – plan for a second person because of the weight and handling of the large layers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which dampening level fits my setup?
The three levels only differ in dampening – build and lifting surface are identical. More rubber underneath means more noise and vibration reduction. Rule of thumb: Advanced as entry level if floor protection and some dampening are enough. Pro if you regularly pull heavy and want noticeably less racket. Extreme if you want to get the maximum out of the platform – whether because of training volume, drop frequency or the floor beneath you.
Does the platform also work for Olympic lifting?
Yes. It's built primarily for deadlifts, but works the same way for cleans, snatches and any lift where the bar comes back to the floor from shoulder height or above. The drop zones are sized for it, and the wooden top plate in the centre gives you the solid stand for the pull.
Do I still need floor mats underneath?
No. The platform brings the full dampening layer with it – shock-absorb pads and lower rubber mat sit underneath. An extra mat barely adds anything and can actually make the stand less solid. Clean floor, platform on top, done.
How does assembly work?
Self-assembly with M10 bolts, instructions included. Plan enough time and ideally a second person – because of the weight and handling of the large rubber layers. Standard tools, nothing special required.
Does the platform fit in a standard garage or box?
Outer dimensions are 260 cm × 111 cm. That fits most garages, basements and boxes without issue. Still measure beforehand – especially the 111 cm depth, which gets underestimated easily when there's a rack in front of it.
Which plates can the drop zone handle?
Bumper plates are built for it – use those when you drop. Steel plates and classic cast iron plates aren't designed for free drops in general and are clearly louder – fine for lifting and standing on, but for drops go bumpers.

Customer reviews

A platform is one of those investments you don't replace every few years – it sits there and does its job. My advice: if you pull serious deadlifts, go one level thicker rather than thinner. Too much dampening has never bothered anyone, too little has.
