The Multisports Bar 15kg Farbig is our 15 kg barbell in colour – the range covers blue, pink and red. It's made for boxes and studios that want colour in their equipment, or their corporate identity on the bar. And for anyone who simply likes what's sitting in the rack. At 201 cm long with a 25 mm shaft, it's shorter and thinner than a 20 kg bar. That's the competition standard for women – but beginners train with it just as much, as does anyone working deliberately with a lighter barbell. You'll see which colours are currently available in the variant picker.
Cerakote is not paint, it's ceramic
Cerakote is a ceramic coating, applied ultra-thin, scratch- and abrasion-resistant. The same technology is used in the firearms industry – that's the difference to a layer of paint that gives way the first time it meets the rack. Apart from the coating, this barbell is identical to our uncoloured 15 kg Multisports Bar: spring steel with 200,000 PSI tensile strength, rated up to 500 kg, sleeves running on 8 needle bearings for smooth rotation on cleans and snatches. The sleeves are 32 cm long, so your plate set fits, and their 50 mm diameter takes weight plates with a 50 mm or 51 mm bore. The middle is smooth, with no center knurl. The double IWF and IPF grip markings show you where your hands belong on every lift.
