No rebound, no uncontrolled hopping. That's exactly what makes it ideal for conditioning WODs, EMOM workouts and explosive finishers. Tough rubber shell for the daily training grind

The filling of sand and iron pellets is the heart of it. The iron pellets make for a denser ball with an even deader bounce – impact energy gets swallowed completely instead of springing back at you. On the outside sits a special rubber compound that takes intense daily use. Slams from overhead? It handles them. The build keeps your floor protected and the training noise low. No. The filling of sand and iron pellets swallows the impact energy completely. The iron pellets make for a denser ball with an even deader bounce – no ball springing back at you. That makes your training safer and more efficient.
What's the difference between a slam ball and a wall ball?
The Slam Ball is built for powerful throws into the floor – no rebound, no seams that could tear. The wall ball is softer, has a bigger diameter and is made for throws against the wall. In short: slam ball for the floor, wall ball for the wall.
Which weight should I start with?
For conditioning WODs, many start with 8 to 15 kg. What matters is that you move cleanly and still break a sweat. For heavier strength-endurance or strongman training, you then move up level by level.
Are the heavy slam balls an alternative to Atlas Stones?
Yes, especially from 45 kg up they're a portable alternative. Unlike real stones, you can use them anywhere and don't need a special surface.
Can I throw the slam ball against the wall?
Technically you can, but the wall ball is the better choice for that. The Slam Ball is harder to catch because of its more compact shape and higher weight.
How do I care for the slam ball?
Wipe off chalk and sweat with a damp cloth – that's all it takes. The rubber shell is tough and low-maintenance.

We use them in our box for conditioning finishers and as an Atlas Stone alternative. The heavy versions from 45 kg up are brutal, but exactly the right thing when you want to push your limits. For HYROX prep or as a cardio killer in between – you can't go wrong with the Slam Ball.
