Multitool for Weightlifting and more
The Soft Drop Blocks are a mix of Jerk Block, dropping mat, and multitool. If you've ever trained with wooden jerk blocks, you know the problem: Bumper Plates slamming on wood – practically ear damage. That's over now. These blocks significantly dampen the impact without sacrificing stability. At the same time, they're much more than just Jerk Blocks: they work as a step-up platform, base support, elevation – whatever you need at the moment.Stable enough for heavy lifts
The blocks are stable enough for heavy cleans and snatches – even at high weights, they don't compress too much. Use them as Jerk Blocks for focused technique training, as elevation for deficit deadlifts, as a step-up to reach the pull-up bar or rings, or as foot elevation when bench pressing. The hardened foam is robust enough for daily box use and can be easily stacked thanks to the integrated velcro. Combine two 15cm blocks or mix them with the 30cm versions – build exactly the height you need.Soft Drop Block vs. Wooden Jerk Blocks
| Feature | Soft Drop Block | Wooden Jerk Blocks |
|---|---|---|
| Noise | Significantly quieter – no ear damage | Loud enough to damage hearing |
| Stability | Stable – doesn't compress | Very stable |
| For heavy lifts | Yes – cleans/snatches possible | Yes |
| Height flexibility | 15 + 30 cm stackable | Fixed height |
| Versatility | Multitool: Jerk Block, step-up, base support | Only Jerk Block |
| Floor protection | Yes – no scratches | Can leave dents |
The Soft Drop Blocks are the choice when you need a mix of jerk block functionality and cushioning – plus the versatility as a multitool. For maximum dampening with pure noise issues, the Dropping Mats are the best solution. For pure competition simulation in a loud gym, rigid wooden jerk blocks can make sense.

Customer reviews
If you've ever trained with wooden jerk blocks, you know: it's brutally loud. The Soft Drop Blocks solve that – significantly quieter, but stable enough for heavy cleans and snatches. In our box, we use them as a true multitool: Jerk Blocks, step-up for rings and pull-up bar, base support for stretching, height adjustment with the 15cm and 30cm versions. If you need maximum dampening for noise issues, go with the Dropping Mats – but for jerk block functionality with versatility, the Soft Drop Blocks are the better choice.
