Description
Resistance from the magnetic brake – not the floor
The Xebex XT4 flips the classic sled principle on its head. Instead of relying on floor friction, the resistance comes from an internal magnetic brake. You set it across eight levels with a lever – from light to brutal. That's exactly why the XT4 runs where a skid sled gets stuck: on asphalt, concrete, grass or rubber flooring. No turf, no special gym needed.
On top of that sits the steerable swivel-wheel design. Two rear 360° swivel casters and a front wheel, all on solid rubber tyres, make the XT4 multidirectional – you push, pull, move sideways or run circles. The patented steering system lets you guide the sled exactly where you need it. And because the magnetic brake works in measurable terms, the optional HIIT Console tracks speed, distance and watts.
One machine, many jobs
The XT4 is more than a sled. Swap the handlebar and it turns into a wheelbarrow – handy when you're moving loads across the yard instead of just training. A plate sleeve (50 mm) in the centre takes standard weight plates if you want extra load or more grip on the front tyre on top of the magnetic brake.
A 180° phone holder comes as standard – use your phone as a display for timer, heart rate and apps. Want more? Add the optional HIIT Console with backlit display (not included). The black anti-UV powder coating makes the XT4 weatherproof for indoor and outdoor use, and stored upright it barely takes up space. The V-strap is included, and you can attach a hip belt, shoulder harness or rope.

If you don't have turf or you want to train outdoors, the XT4 is the more flexible choice. The magnetic resistance makes you independent of the surface – no skid sled can do that.

I was sceptical whether a sled without turf could work. Then I set the XT4 on the asphalt outside the box and pulled the lever up – the thing pulls. Since then we train sleds outdoors too, and I couldn't care less about the weather.
