Which floor fits you?

We put all the lines side by side. Three questions, then you'll know.

This is the page where you make the decision. We compare all seven main lines directly, show you scenarios with concrete recommendations, and if you're still unsure after that, you get in touch with us. That's not a pep talk – the rubber flooring world is full of jargon and we know it.

Three questions that get you further:

  1. How intensively will the floor be used? Heavy every day (box, performance gym) or moderate now and then (family home gym)?
  2. How important is acoustics? Neighbours? Apartment building? Commercial studio with rooms next door?
  3. Rented or owned? Rented → modular, removable without residue. Owned → permanent solutions are an option too.

Short and honest: if you read no further

HG PRO CONNECT 25 Tile. In our view, this is the floor that's the right choice for almost any setup. Robust damping even for heavy drops, a clean, fine-grained surface, rock solid hold thanks to the Connect connectors, removable without residue when you move. Plus matching ramps and corners for clean transitions – and if you want, a TURF zone in the same system right next to it.

If you don't want to deal with the details and just need a floor that works: take this one. All the other lines have their place, but HG PRO CONNECT 25 is our default.

If you do want to compare in more depth: read on.

We almost always lean towards HG over ECO – especially in smaller rooms. The difference in smell, surface and durability pays off over the years. Only if you really have large areas with robust standard use does ECO PRO or ECO HEAVY make sense.

When vibration and sound insulation matter

Quick reality check: a thicker rubber floor on its own doesn't solve a vibration problem in the building. The floor damps the impact and reduces airborne noise – but structure-borne noise (the vibration travelling through the concrete slab into other rooms) is only reduced to a limited extent.

If you train in an apartment building, your neighbours are already sensitised or you do heavy Olympic lifts, you need more than just a thicker floor. Top-layer recommendation: ECO HEAVY 40 instead of thinner options – the 40 mm of mass takes the peak out of the impact.

If you can't decide

Three ways:

  1. Come to the showroom. Two minutes standing on it says more than any table.
  2. Send us a sketch. Room size, use, a few photos – we'll come back with a concrete recommendation.
  3. Call us. Direct line to us.

Decided? Or not quite yet?

Both ways are fine. Open the range, or drop us a line.
