When two people work the same weight at once
The Competition Kettlebell Set Pro is the Basic Set doubled: the same seven weights from 8 to 32 kg, each one twice. That makes 14 bells and 280 kg. The difference isn't the range – both sets cover the same. The difference is that every weight is in the house as a pair.
That opens two doors. The first: exercises with two kettlebells at once. Double swings, double cleans, front rack carries and farmer walks all need two kettlebells of equal weight – with only one per weight, that whole part of your training stays shut. The second: two people can work the same weight. Nobody waits, and nobody drops to the next size down because the 16 is already taken.
Why the ball and the handle never grow with the weight
On cast-iron kettlebells, the ball gets bigger with every step up in weight. Not here: ball diameter 210 mm, handle diameter 35 mm – identical across all seven weights. You grip the 12 exactly like the 28, and in the front rack the bell sits in the same spot.
With two kettlebells it matters even more. In the front rack both rest side by side on your chest and forearms. If they were different sizes, one would sit higher than the other – you'd stand crooked and press unevenly. Because every kettlebell here measures the same 210 mm, the pair always sits level, whether it's 12 or 28 kg. Add the short gap between handle and ball: the weight stays closer to your body, the lever is shorter, and you hold out through longer sets. All kettlebells are made of steel with filling material, so they hit different weights at an identical size.
In group training, the colour does the work
The IWF colour coding saves real time in a group session. You call "yellow!" and everyone grabs 16 kg – nobody turns the bell over to hunt for the number. With 14 bells on the floor, that's the difference between a clean switch and digging through a pile.
Where to put 280 kg
14 bells want a fixed spot. On their own they stand safely on the flat base, but with pairs you're looking for two bells every time instead of one – and whatever lies on the floor gets in the way. A Kettlebell Storage Rack (126 cm wide, two levels) takes around twelve competition bells; for the last two you need a second rack or a spot next to it. If you line up all 14 along a wall, plan generously: 14 balls at 210 mm come to just under three metres – without a single centimetre of gap between them.

Training on your own or at home? The Basic Set is enough – seven weights, one each, same range. The moment two people want the same bell at once, or you train double work, you need pairs. That's when the Pro Set is the right call.

Customer reviews
In our box you see it every day: there's one 16 on the floor, two people want it at the same time, and one of them drops to 12 or 20. Pairs put an end to that. For my own training I like the set for another reason – double cleans and long cycle only work once you have two matching bells. If you train on your own, though, the Basic Set does the job too – plus a rack, so the bells aren't in the way.
