Description

Compact power rack – full function on 75 cm depth

The CPR-100 is the power rack (often called a squat rack) for everyone with limited space who refuses to compromise on function or stability. At just 75 cm depth, it fits into tight basement rooms, garages, small studios or narrow training corners – without sacrificing freedom of movement. Squats, bench press, deadlifts, pull-ups, shoulder presses, rack pulls: all of it works. Safety straps and J-hooks are included, you can start training right away. The 220 cm overall height is compatible with most Swiss ceiling heights (standard 240–250 cm) – basement, garage, ground floor, loft. Compact doesn't mean less here – just smaller.

Part of the A-Line series – no compatibility chaos

140 kg machine weight and 3 mm steel with 75 × 75 mm profile – the rack stays stable even without floor anchoring. The short build saves space, not quality. The CPR-100 is part of our A-Line series. All A-Line attachments and extensions fit cleanly: dip arms, plate storage, pull-up bars, curved pull-up bars, multi-grip bars. Today you start with the compact rack, in two years you upgrade with extra components – no new purchase, no compatibility chaos. The 17 mm hole pattern and laser-etched height markers let you set safety straps and J-hooks precisely and quickly. Optionally bolt the rack to the floor – but for most use, the machine weight is enough.

If space is tight – basement, garage, small studio – the CPR-100 is the direct choice. You get the same A-Line quality and all the extension options as the bigger sibling, just more compact. With more space available, the CPR-150 adds extra movement freedom for wide stances and stations with multiple athletes in parallel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the short rack for?
For everyone with limited space: basement home gyms, small garages, personal trainers with compact studios, apartments with limited training area. When every centimeter of floor space matters but you still want to train seriously with a barbell and a full rack.
What's the difference to the CPR-150?
Depth. The CPR-100 is 75 cm deep, the CPR-150 is 121 cm. Height (220 cm) and width (121 cm) are identical. The shorter rack saves nearly 50 cm of floor space – with full A-Line compatibility and the same build quality. If you primarily do squats and bench press, the CPR-100 has you fully covered.
Will the rack fit my room?
The rack is 220 cm tall. When setting up, you need a bit more space because the uprights tilt up at an angle. Plan for at least 230 cm ceiling height. Footprint: 121 × 75 cm – plus room for you, the barbell and plates on the sides. Sensible minimum: about 200 × 150 cm of free training area.
Do I have to bolt the rack to the floor?
Not necessarily. At 140 kg machine weight, it sits stable for squats and bench in typical hobby and athletic-level training. For maximum safety on very heavy lifts or Box use, we recommend the optional floor anchoring – but many customers train without and the rack still stays solid.
Can I extend the rack later?
Yes. The CPR-100 is part of the A-Line series. All A-Line attachments fit: dip arms, plate storage, pull-up bars, curved pull-up bars, multi-grip bars, wall ball targets, J-cups, safety arms. You can build out step by step without ever buying a new rack.
What's included in delivery?
The complete rack, safety straps and J-hooks. With that you can squat, bench and do rack pulls right away – the safety straps catch the bar softly if a lift doesn't come up, easier on the bar and floor than rigid safety pins. All other attachments (dip arms, pull-up bar, etc.) are optional and orderable separately.
Which profile and hole pattern does the rack have?
75 × 75 mm profile, 3 mm steel, 17 mm hole diameter, 5 cm hole spacing with laser-etched height markers. These are the A-Line specs – compatible with all A-Line attachments and components.
Is the CPR-100 a power rack or a squat rack?
Technically it's a full power rack with 4 uprights, safety straps and an integrated pull-up bar – more than a classic squat stand (2 uprights without safety). In everyday usage, "squat rack" is often used as a catch-all term for this kind of rack. If you're looking for a squat rack for squats, bench press and pull-ups in a home gym, the CPR-100 is the right choice. If you really only want a pure squat stand without enclosure, take a look at our A-Line squat stands (AL-INSQST-180 etc.) instead.

Customer reviews

We built the CPR-100 specifically for people who want a serious power rack but don't have the space for the 121 cm depth of the standard variant. 75 cm depth – that fits into rooms where nothing else would. And everything's still there: 140 kg machine weight, 3 mm steel, A-Line compatibility, safety straps, J-hooks. I recommend it especially for basement home gyms, small garages or compact personal training studios. Compact doesn't mean less to us – just smaller.
