Time structure wherever you train

The ECO Mini Timer is the small gym timer for everyone who wants clean time targets outside the box too – in the home gym, in a hotel room or out on the grass. At 130 × 39 × 23.5 mm and 97 g it disappears into a side pocket and is ready in seconds.

Twelve training modes are built in, among them the classics Tabata, EMOM and countdown. In practice that means: Tabata for your 20/10 rounds, EMOM for minute-by-minute work, countdown as the window for your AMRAP or as a cap on a Rounds for Time. Everything runs through five buttons on the top – pick a mode, hit start, done. No pairing, no connecting, nothing that has to be linked up first.

Read at a glance, not stared at

The display is split into two colours: the main readout in white, the secondary readout in green – one look tells you what's running. The time digits are around 2.5 cm tall (1 inch), the secondary readout around 2 cm – big enough to catch mid-set with a single glance. The bright LED display stays readable even in strong light. Battery level, mute and the 10-second lead-in each have their own icon on the display, so you never have to guess what state the unit is in. On top of that comes the 85 dB alarm for an unmistakable start and finish signal.

Stick it on and go

The housing made from ABS and Plexiglas shrugs off sweat and the odd knock. There's a magnet on the back – the timer sticks to your rack, to a whiteboard or to any other metal surface. No bracket, no screws, no wobble. On wood or plastic you'll need a shelf to stand it on; on a rig it stays exactly where you put it.

The battery runs for around 11 hours and charges back to full in about 2.5 hours over USB-C. And if you're stuck on the cable and still want to start: the timer keeps running while it charges. The unit comes with a 2-year warranty.
