Description

Precision for competition and training

The High Grade Change Plates are for those who take accuracy seriously. Whether you're preparing for competition or want clean progressions in training – with only 10 g tolerance per plate you know exactly what's on the bar. The IWF color coding makes identification easy: you see at a glance which weight you're grabbing. From 0.5 kg to 5 kg all increments are available, so you can progress in 1 kg steps – exactly what often makes the difference between stagnation and a new PR.

Built for daily use

The metal core is coated with durable rubber. This protects your barbell from scratches and reduces noise during training. The 50 mm bore fits all Olympic barbells – standard for Olympic lifting, powerlifting and CrossFit. We use these plates ourselves in our box, at competitions and in daily training. They deliver what they promise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are the tolerances so important?
In competitions, sometimes 1 kg decides between success and failure. If your plates at home are 5% off, you're training with the wrong weight. With ± 10 g tolerance you know exactly what you're lifting – and you're prepared for competition.
Do the plates fit my barbell?
Yes, if you have an Olympic barbell with 50 mm sleeves. That's the standard for all barbells for CrossFit, Olympic lifting and powerlifting.
Why rubber coating?
The rubber coating protects your barbell from scratches and dampens noise. This makes a real difference, especially if you train early in the morning or in an apartment.
What does the color coding mean?
The colors follow the IWF standard: Red (2.5 kg), Blue (2 kg), Yellow (1.5 kg), Green (1 kg), White (0.5 kg and 5 kg). This way you instantly recognize the weight – even from a distance or under time pressure.
Are the plates sold individually or as a pair?
Individually. This way you can put together exactly the combination you need. For a pair, simply order 2 pieces.
Can I use them on dumbbells too?
Yes. The plates are slim enough to fit on dumbbells as well. Several customers use them for exactly that.

Customer reviews

At our competitions in the box we exclusively use these Change Plates. The tolerance is minimal, the color coding makes loading fast, and they've lasted for years. If you value accuracy, these are the right ones.
