Order where every square metre counts

Not every box has a full wall to spare for dumbbells, and a home gym certainly doesn't. The Short Storage 3er Dumbbell Rack still gets your set in order without taking over half the room. Three short shelves at 100 cm width hold a handy range – every pair in its place, sorted and within reach. At 115 cm tall the rack stays low, so it fits under a deep basement ceiling or into the corner of a small studio. Built for anyone who wants structure but has to make the space work.

Powder-coated steel, freestanding – part of the storage system

We designed the rack for daily use: dumbbells getting dropped back and three loaded shelves in constant rotation. Powder-coated steel takes that and wipes clean easily – chalk and sweat off, done. The rack stands freestanding in the room, so you don't have to drill into the wall. The base plates have holes in case you want to bolt it down as well – it isn't required. And because the rack is part of the Multifunctional Storage System, you simply add more shelves later or combine it with kettlebell and plate modules. The dumbbells in the photo are not included in the set.

Go for the Short version if your setup is compact or space stays tight. If your dumbbell range grows across more weight steps, reach for the Long version with 178 cm shelves.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many dumbbells fit on one shelf?
It depends on the diameter of your dumbbells – heavier steps are chunkier, lighter ones slimmer. As a guide, a short shelf holds roughly two to three pairs of medium hex dumbbells; more with light steps, fewer with very heavy ones. Across all three tiers that works out to roughly six to nine pairs, depending on your weight mix. Treat it as orientation, not a fixed guarantee.
What's included in the set?
Two short side posts (115 cm) and three short dumbbell shelves (100 cm). The dumbbells in the photo aren't included – you order those separately to match your range.
What's the difference to the Long version?
The shelves are narrower: 100 cm instead of 178 cm. That fits a handy range per tier rather than a broad one. The Short version is the compact solution for home gyms and small boxes, the Long the wide one for studios with a large range.
Does the rack work for round dumbbells too?
It's designed for hex dumbbells – their hexagonal shape sits stable on the shelves. Round dumbbells can roll, so we don't recommend them for it.
Do I have to bolt the rack down?
No, it stands freestanding in the room. The base plates have holes in case you want to anchor it as well – it isn't required. All you need is a level floor and even loading.
Can I expand or combine the rack later?
Yes. The rack is part of the modular Multifunctional Storage System. You add more shelves or combine it with kettlebell and plate modules as your equipment grows. Get in touch – we'll help you plan it.
Does the rack fit into a small room?
At 115 cm tall it fits under any deep basement ceiling. For the footprint you only need 100 cm width and 35 cm depth – measure up first and leave a little room for loading.
