The 3in1 set offers three training heights of 50 cm (20 inches), 60 cm (24 inches) and 76 cm (30 inches), which correspond to the international standard heights in CrossFit. The space-saving 3in1 Plyobox impresses with its dynamic training adjustment and is therefore the perfect equipment for professional fitness studios.
Multifunctional training device for functional fitness
A high-quality plyo box is a true all-rounder. In the CrossFit area, it is used primarily for plyo training. Thanks to its high stability, our 3-in-1 plyo box with a wooden core is ideal for box jumps, burpees, alternating jumps, etc. But the box is also ideal for climbing exercises or one-legged squats.
The boxes are also popular aids in athletic training and parkour sports. Alternatively, the box can also be used as an aid for complex exercises such as pull-ups on the rig.
What is plyometric training?
Plyometric training (plyo training for short) is an effective method for training explosive strength and jumping power. The principle is based on the “stretch-shortening cycle”. This divides the movement sequence during training into an eccentric phase (stretching), a concentric phase (contraction) and an intermediate damping phase (pause).
The aim of plyo training is to keep the break as short as possible. In practice, this means that all plyo exercises are carried out on the plyo box with high dynamics and minimal contact with the ground. Part of the kinetic energy from the eccentric movement phase is stored as pre-tension and released again in the contraction phase.
The greater the pre-tension, the more powerful the subsequent movement phase. Plyometric training not only trains the muscles, but also the neuromuscular system for quick changes of direction and reaction times. Ideal conditions for athletics, martial arts and many team sports.
