Competition Bumper Plates Set for competition training
The High Grade Competition Bumper Plates Set 140 kg is the direct solution for athletes training at competition level – Olympic weightlifters, ambitious CrossFitters with comp goals, or Box owners building a full competition setup. The set contains all four IWF-standard weight pairs: 2× 10 kg (green), 2× 15 kg (yellow), 2× 20 kg (blue), 2× 25 kg (red). The IWF-compliant color coding makes recognition and changes instant – in competition mode at high frequency or while coaching multiple athletes in parallel, you see immediately what's on the bar. At 140 kg total, you cover technique work to heavy PRs. Light starts pull from the set; for max attempts you load the whole set.
Steel core for more weight per plate
The core difference to standard bumper plates: competition plates have a steel core instead of a volumetric core. That means more weight at less thickness – you fit more kilos on the bar without plates overhanging the sleeve. On the 25 kg pair particularly relevant: thinner = more sleeve reserve for additional plates. The material is built for continuous use. Over 30,000 drops in load testing – simulating years of intense Box or athletic-studio use with daily drops from hip or shoulder height. 50.4 mm bore and 450 mm outer diameter match the IWF standard exactly and fit any Olympic barbell (50 mm).

Customer reviews
Competition plates are what we use in our Box for serious Olympic lifting training. The steel core makes the difference: you fit more weight on the bar, the geometry stays correct for clean lifts, and the plates just hold up. Over 30,000 drops tested – that's not marketing, that's the standard you need when multiple athletes push the limit daily. The 140 kg set covers technique work to heavy sets entirely.
