Black bumper plates for Olympic lifting and CrossFit
The High Grade Black Bumper Plates are the upgrade to our standard bumper plates. The key day-to-day difference: they don't smell. No typical rubber stench that settles into enclosed spaces – relevant for CrossFit Boxes with limited ventilation, basement home gyms and studio spaces in residential buildings. The smooth surface feels more pleasant and wipes clean easily. The color-coded weight labeling is cast rather than printed – it won't wear off even after years of intense use and stays legible at all times. With 45 cm outer diameter and 50 mm bore, the plates fit any Olympic bar (Olympic standard). Built for snatches, cleans, deadlifts and every drop-based exercise.
100 % virgin rubber and stainless steel insert
The core material difference: 100 % virgin rubber – no recycled mix. That's the reason for the odor-free properties and the long-term stable rubber quality. The inner ring is stainless steel instead of regular steel, precisely 50.6 mm – it sits rock-solid in the rubber and gives the plate the structural stability for thousands of drops from full hip or shoulder height. Weight tolerance is up to 1 % – you always know exactly what's on the bar. IWF standards require 0.5 % tolerance for official competition; in the hobby and Box range, 1 % is significantly better than the typical 3 % of standard bumper plates. Available from 5 to 25 kg with IWF-standard color labels (white / green / yellow / blue / red).

The High Grade are odor-free – that makes a huge difference in smaller rooms.
