Description

Five steps – thickness tells you how hard it pulls

Five closed loops made from latex-free rubber, from 0.3 mm to 1.2 mm thick. The thickness is the resistance: yellow/orange pulls the lightest at 0.3 mm, black the strongest at 1.2 mm. In between sit green (0.5 mm), blue (0.8 mm) and red (1.0 mm).

Every band carries its label – X-Light, Light, Medium, Heavy, X-Heavy – plus a dot scale that shows you the step at a glance. You don't have to stretch a band to know which one you're holding.

The difference to the latex line sits at the top: the black band at 1.2 mm only exists latex-free. When red eventually stops giving enough pull on Monster Walks or above the knees during squats, there's one more step here. At the bottom it's the same picture as with latex – X-Light at 0.3 mm for shoulder work, first activation sets and rehab-style exercises.

Resistance band training that fits in any bag

Mini bands are the tool for everything that happens on the floor and standing up: glute bridges, Monster Walks, clamshells, banded squats, shoulder rotations in the warm-up. The loop sits around your thighs, ankles or wrists and forces you to hold the tension.

In the box the bands usually live in the warm-up area – five minutes of activation before the first barbell goes up. In a home gym and in a practice it's the same picture, just with fewer people around.

The five loops need practically no space. That puts your warm-up in your backpack – whether it's off to a hotel, a hall, or an away session.

Latex-free – and you can see it on the band

All five bands are made from latex-free rubber. With a latex allergy that's the precondition for working with a loop at all. Anyone without an allergy won't notice a difference in training – latex-free is an advantage for some, not a must for everyone.

Every band has "LATEX FREE" printed on it, along with our logo and the resistance. In everyday use that's more practical than it sounds: when bands from different sources sit in the same basket in the box or the practice, you can see on the band which one you can hand over. No guessing, no asking around.

With a latex allergy the case is clear. Otherwise the top step decides: if you want more pull than 1.0 mm gives, take this set – the black band only exists here. At the bottom both lines are the same, so otherwise the latex Mini Bands Set is enough. If a loop shouldn't roll up on your thigh, take the Stoff Mini Bands.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which five thicknesses are in the set?
Yellow/orange (0.3 mm, X-Light), green (0.5 mm, Light), blue (0.8 mm, Medium), red (1.0 mm, Heavy) and black (1.2 mm, X-Heavy). The thickness is the resistance – the thicker the band, the more pull.
I already have latex Mini Bands – is green the same as green?
The thickness matches, the label doesn't. On the four shared colors – yellow 0.3 mm, green 0.5 mm, blue 0.8 mm, red 1.0 mm – the thickness is the same in both lines. Because five names have to be handed out here, the label on the latex side sits one step higher: green is called "Medium" there, "Light" here. Black at 1.2 mm only exists latex-free. So when you reorder, go by millimeters, not by the printed label.
Which band do I take for which exercise?
Yellow/orange and green for shoulder work, warm-up and first activation sets. Blue is the all-rounder for Monster Walks and glute bridges. You take red and black when hips and legs should really work against the pull.
What does latex-free actually get me?
With a latex allergy it's the precondition for training with a loop at all. Without an allergy you won't notice a difference in training. Practical on top of that: every band says "LATEX FREE" – in a mixed inventory you see straight away which band you can hand over.
Do the loops roll up on fast movements?
It can happen – narrow rubber loops just do that, whatever the material. If it bothers you in the warm-up, go for the Stoff Mini Bands: cut wider, sit flat on your leg.
How do I make the bands last?
Store them dry, don't leave them lying in blazing sun and keep them away from sharp edges. That's all it takes. Just wipe sweat off and let them dry.
Are the mini bands enough, or do I also need a long band?
For activation, hips and shoulders the loops are enough. As soon as you work at the rack or the pull-up bar – assisted pull-ups, banded squats, mobility with pull from above – you need the long band. The two complement each other, they don't replace each other.

Customer reviews

At our place latex-free and latex bands sit in the same basket, and green really isn't green: the thickness matches, the printed label says something else. That's why we only go by millimeters now, then there's no discussion. The black band is the real gain – on Monster Walks it used to end at red, now there's one more step.
